About PoE League News
A fan site that follows Path of Exile 1 leagues: launch dates and hours, reveals, patch notes and the Atlas.
PoE League News is written by Path of Exile players for players who want one answer fast: when does the next league start, and what changes in it. It is a fan site. It is not run by, affiliated with or endorsed by Grinding Gear Games, the studio that makes Path of Exile. Path of Exile is a trademark of Grinding Gear Games, and the name appears here only to say which game we write about.
Every date and time on this site comes from an announcement by Grinding Gear Games on pathofexile.com, and we name the post and the day it went up. When GGG has not given a time, such as the hour a league goes live, we work out an estimate from GGG's own past launches, label it as an estimate and replace it as soon as GGG posts the real one.
We write our own text. We do not copy GGG's posts or patch notes, and we use no GGG logos or game art. We do not sell items, currency or boosting, and we do not link to sites that do.
There are no accounts, comments or ads on this site, and it sets no cookies. Visits are counted by a self-hosted counter that stores no personal data. If you turn on alerts, your browser gives us a push address: we keep it only to send the few league alerts (the reveal, the patch notes, the launch) and delete it when you switch alerts off. The alerts script also keeps a random ID in your browser's storage, so installs and sign-ups can be counted without knowing who you are.
How we work
- Sources: announcements by Grinding Gear Games on pathofexile.com, named and dated on each page
- Estimates are marked as estimates and replaced when GGG confirms
- Our own words: no copied posts or patch notes, no logos, no game art
- Alerts: at most three per league, only when you turn them on, switched off in one tap
- Path of Exile 1 leagues only: builds, trading and Path of Exile 2 are outside this site
- No trading, currency sales or boosting, and no links to them
